Leaders of Good
The Leaders of Good Award serves to recognise exceptional changemakers who have devoted their time, talent, treasure, ties, and testimony to create positive impact in society and galvanised others to do good, thereby multiplying their impact on society. Galvanising others can take the form of motivating and leading others to volunteer, perform in-kind/cash/medical donations (philanthropy), and/or being advocates for causes or needs in society.
Individuals may apply or be nominated for the Leaders of Good Award. To ensure a complete application, the entry must be jointly completed by both the nominee/applicant and the nominator/referee.
Award Categories
There are 2 different categories for the Leaders of Good Award.
The Leaders of Good Award serves to recognise everyday individuals who are exceptional changemakers, who have devoted their time, talent, treasure, ties, and testimony to create a positive impact in society and galvanised others to do good, thereby multiplying their impact on society.
Leader of Good (Youth) | Age criteria: 35 years old and below |
Leader of Good (Open) | Age criteria: 36 years old and above |
Eligibility & Criteria
- Individuals who are exceptional changemakers who have devoted their time, talent, treasure, ties, and testimony to create a positive impact in society and galvanised others to do good, thereby multiplying their impact on society.
- Nominees can hail from the private, public or people/non-profit sectors, as long as they fulfil the criteria of leadership, i.e. are part of a management team, holding a position that motivates a group of people to act toward achieving a common goal.
- Galvanising others can take the form of motivating and leading others to volunteer, perform in-kind/cash/medical donations and/or advocate for causes or needs in society outside their scope of work.
- Leadership efforts demonstrate effectiveness, impact, scale, and influence, with exemplary achievements in the last 3 years. Emphasis is given to contributions in the last calendar year.
- Individual must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Not involved in any legal/criminal proceedings, litigation, bankruptcy, or regulatory infraction at the point of submission.
- Age criterion is based on age of application as of 31 December 2025. Proof of identity for verification may be required and must be produced upon request.

- Deadline for submissions: 2 June 2025 (Monday) at 11.59pm.
- Entries with conflicts of interest* are not allowed.
- Shortlisted nominees/applicants may be required to discuss their nomination(s) with the Secretariat.
- An esteemed panel of judges representing the public, private and people / non-profit sector will evaluate your application.
- PVPA recipient and nominees must keep Award results confidential until NVPC’s official announcement. Awards, once made, may be withdrawn if there is non-disclosure or misrepresentation of material information, or for non-compliance with these conditions.
- All decisions relating to the Awards are final.
- All sensitive information submitted will be kept confidential. However, NVPC may share the contents of the nomination form publicly with the media or on our marketing platforms and publication materials for the purpose of publicity, marketing of PVPA and other related programmes and initiatives.
- PVPA recipients may be invited by NVPC to share their award-winning practices and experiences to inspire and empower others.
*Conflict-of-interest (COI)
For Individuals Nominees: A COI applies to members of the nominee/applicant’s immediate family (defined as their spouse, child, sibling, parent, stepchild, stepparent, as well as mother-, father-, son-, daughter-, brother-, or sister-in-law) and to any other individuals who live in their household except for tenants and household employees.
For Organisations: A COI applies to representatives of the nominated organisation (defined as employees, management representatives) including board members and/or advisory members.
