Brief Introduction to PVPA
The President’s Volunteerism and Philanthropy Awards (PVPA) is the pinnacle award and platform to recognise individuals, organisations, leaders, and cross-sector partnerships that have achieved excellence in giving. These awards represent the highest honour for giving to the community and are conferred by the President of the Republic of Singapore. It is organised annually by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), which is the steward of the City of Good vision, with support from the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY).

What’s New in 2025

PVPA introduces a new pillar – the Communities of Good, to strengthen recognition of formal and informal groups, with the previous Non-Profit award split into Small & Medium and Large Charities, and a Groundup award introduced.
This brings the total number of awards to be conferred this year to 12, to recognise and celebrate individuals, organisations, leaders, communities, and cross-sector partnerships that have achieved excellence in giving.
