The Asian Film Archive’s Retrospective: Edward Yang comprises screenings, an exhibition, talks and events. The exhibition showcasing Edward Yang’s personal artefacts is a first in Singapore and Southeast Asia. All of these are made possible with the support of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia and the Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute.

SG60 GoodStart Run Fundraising Dinner
Join Mr. Lim Nghee Huat’s SG60 GoodStart Run in Brazil to celebrate Singapore’s 60th birthday and support PPS’s Educational Support Programme. Little Olive Tree preschoolers are running 60 kilometers over 60 days in a community rally for this milestone journey.

Defence Collective Singapore (DCS) Volunteers Lead Enriching Journeys for All Ages
In November 2024, our Defence Collective Singapore volunteers, Friends of Singapore Discovery Centre, warmly hosted several groups of beneficiaries at the Singapore Discovery Centre. These groups, ranging from children to seniors, embarked on engaging learning journeys and excursions. Supported by DCS with our galleries, programmes, and facilities, our volunteers led insightful tours highlighting Singapore’s defence story, creating a meaningful experience for all visitors whilst deepening their appreciation of our nation’s history.

ArtsWok Collaborative Film Screening Fundraiser
Support ArtsWok Collaborative’s film screening fundraiser featuring the award-winning Japanese film “Plan 75” and touching short “Float Free” from their flagship programme Both Sides, Now! Held at The Projector at Cineleisure, they offer a morning screening, along with an afternoon screening that includes a lunch reception and post-show dialogue with the co-creators of “Float Free” (two senior collaborators and the lead artist). Donations go towards programmes like Both Sides, Now where communities work jointly towards their desired change!

Financial Literacy Talk with Kids @ Big Heart Student Care
This financial literacy talk will share concepts of saving, spending and budgeting to kids aged 6 to 10 years old from Big Heart Student Care @ West View. It is a Voluntary Welfare Organisation (VWO) that provides affordable after-school cares for students. The talk will be conducted by ISCA member volunteer, Ms Ismarina Binte Ismail, alongside other ISCA Cares volunteers using interactive games and activities.

We partnered with SATA HealthComm to organise an enriching excursion to the Singapore Discovery Centre for children. Here, they explored the Singapore story through an interactive Gallery tour, learning how Singapore’s history and values shape our nation’s defence. Alongside this educational journey, they engaged in fun, hands-on activities that fostered friendship and a sense of community. This experience aimed to inspire pride in Singapore story while creating memorable moments on their visit.

BTSS Christmas x Virtual Flag Day Event 2024
In conjunction with Brain Tumour Society (Singapore)’s annual Christmas Lunch, a virtual Flag Day fundraising event will be held via livestream.
