NVPC’s Inaugural Fundraising Forum Unveiled the Performance of giving.sg in 2024 and Gathered Fundraisers for More Synchronised Collaboration

The inaugural Fundraising Forum, organised to elevate the fundraising capabilities of non-profits, brought together over 300 charity fundraising professionals, foundations, and funders to discuss evolving charity and fundraising trends, and to foster the growth of a professional network of fundraisers as part of the giving.sg community.

The forum unveiled the giving.sg performance in 2024 and preliminary insights from a digital donor insights report which will be released around Q3 2025. In 2024, giving.sg saw a strong momentum of Singaporeans and residents giving back to the community, with a record-breaking donation of $27.2 million in December 2024 and $3.9 million on 31 December 2024, as Singapore ushered in SG60. These donations represent the highest-ever single-month and single-day records in the history of giving.sg.

Said Ms Gemma Byrne, Deputy Director, Segments and Markets Development, NVPC, “This record-breaking donation is a powerful testament to the generosity of people in Singapore and the growing impact of digital giving. It reaffirms that giving remains accessible, seamless, and deeply meaningful when people rally behind causes they believe in. As the SG60 celebrations gain momentum, these milestones set the stage for activating even more Singaporeans and residents to give back as part of SG60. At NVPC, we remain committed to providing a trusted platform where charities can fundraise effectively, and individuals can contribute towards building a City of Good together.”

In the spirit of SG60, NVPC is proud to be collaborating with Community Chest on SGSHARE, a national giving campaign on giving.sg that encourages all to give in support of the wider community (https://go.gov.sg/sg60share).

State of Play to Connect Corporates with Volunteering Opportunities with 60 Community Partners

The third edition of State of Play, an exhibition aimed at fostering meaningful and impactful partnerships between corporates and non-profits, saw a threefold increase in exhibitors this year, with 60 community partners from diverse causes.

Said Ms Sufei Lin, Director, Corporate and Industry Partnerships, “Singapore is beginning to see a transition from one-off engagements to more meaningful and sustained collaboration between corporates and community partners, and the success of today’s State of Play attests to this shift. It is heartening to note that companies in Singapore want to better understand community needs and see how they can best contribute time, expertise and resources, and in so doing make stronger impact in society as Companies of Good.”

Third Iteration of NVPC’s Corporate Queen Bee Initiative in Collaboration with HP Inc, ‘Scale with Purpose’, Empowered Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to Embrace Sustainable Manufacturing

Following the successful conclusion of two corporate queen bee programmes in 2024, NVPC’s ongoing efforts to activate Corporate Purpose among SMEs in Singapore recently saw the conclusion of the third programme, Scale with Purpose (SwP).

A strategic collaboration between NVPC and HP Singapore, the programme also marks HP’s 55th anniversary in Singapore, which coincides with SG60 celebrations. HP Singapore is scaling up its commitment to give back and uplift the manufacturing ecosystem by partnering NVPC on its first-ever structured mentorship programme. This was announced by Mr Tony Soh, CEO of NVPC as part of his presentation on NVPC’s strategic perspectives and plans.

BAGUS Together Celebrates its First Anniversary by Laying Foundations for a Vibrant Ecosystem of Groundups in Singapore

BAGUS (Building All Groundups for Success) Together, the tripartite collaboration between NVPC, Temasek Foundation and Tote Board celebrated its first anniversary through an appreciation session for groundup leaders, changemakers, ecosystem stakeholders and partners who have supported groundup initiatives to come together to spark new ideas and form partnerships.

Said Mr Lenard Pattiselanno, Senior Director, Community Leadership and Partnerships, NVPC, “The past one year has been a fulfilling journey for the BAGUS Together initiative, marking a new chapter in Singapore’s groundup scene. We are seeing increased interest from various parts of society in starting their own initiatives to give back to the community, and this gels nicely with our SG60 theme this year, where each of us can contribute in our unique way to build a stronger and more united Singapore together.”
