If I had to describe my experience here in one word, it would be versatile. No day in BAGUS Together was the same, but I think that's what made it special! I got the chance to build my capacity in ways that I wasn't expecting, but the team was patient in guiding me to a point where I not only am now more confident in event planning, marketing, and stakeholder engagement, but I also left with more faith in humanity.
Nadya Vijay, former intern, BAGUS Together - Singapore Management University, Sociology and Marketing undergraduate
Working with the marketing and communications team behind the Company of Good movement has given me a deeper understanding of purpose as a driver for community impact. I enjoy being part of a team passionate about amplifying good in Singapore, and through this internship, I’ve learnt how to translate big ideas into stories that resonate with different audiences.
Caroline Cheng, intern, Marketing and Communications - Singapore Management University, Bachelor of Integrative Studies, Digital Media at the Margins
Exposed to a wide range of learning opportunities that stretched both my technical and analytical abilities, I had the privilege of leading projects, facilitating meetings with stakeholders, and contributing directly to product improvements and process enhancements. These not only strengthened my problem-solving and project management skills, but also gave me the confidence to drive discussions and deliver tangible outcomes.
Especially fulfilling was the supportive, collaborative culture within the Digital Innovation team, where everyone was always willing to offer guidance and work through challenges together — creating a safe space for interns to experiment, grow, and take ownership of their work.
I also had the chance to collaborate with other departments, broadening my understanding of cross-functional workflows. Above all, I enjoyed knowing that the work I contributed to ultimately helped build better experiences for Singapore’s volunteer and philanthropy scene!
Wynette Wong, former Business Analyst intern, Digital Innovation - Nanyang Technological University, Accountancy and Data Science & Artificial Intelligence undergraduate
