Community Matters convenes various roundtables across the year to bring like-minded individuals together in a safe space to encourage peer sharing, learning, and building connections.
We offer neutrality and our networks to bring diverse communities to the table.
The topics we have explored range from sports for beneficiaries to how to better fundraise.
Past events
The Community Matters team and the SportCares team from Sport Singapore held a session with a group of non-profit (NPO) professionals to hear about the Communities-of-Care programme by SportCares. Participants explored how it might be used to engage communities and stakeholders, and potential challenges that might be faced during implementation.
The Community Matters team held a session with a group of non-profit fundraising professionals to understand the role and challenges of non-profit fundraising in the age of COVID-19. The participating NPOs comprised representatives from Singapore Symphony Group, Dementia Singapore, FIND, Red Cross Society Singapore, Mercy Relief, Sian Chay Medical Institution, and Caritas Singapore.
