SG60 Momentum Drives Record S$104.9 Million Raised on giving.sg in 2025

26 January 2026
  • This marks giving.sg’s largest total annual donation ever received since its launch, and is 21 per cent higher than 2024.
  • The record donations received also include over S$47.7 million raised during the Great Singapore Give 2025 campaign, surpassing the S$42 million raised during last year’s edition, while also mobilising over 30,000 employee volunteers.

SINGAPORE, 26 January 2026 – Buoyed by last year’s SG60 celebrations, the nation demonstrated a remarkable spirit of generosity in 2025, as Singapore’s national digital giving platform, giving.sg, received a record-breaking amount of S$104.9 million in donations between 1 January to 31 December 2025. The figure marked a 21 per cent increase in donations received compared to 2024, making 2025 the highest yearly donations received through giving.sg since its launch in 2015.

The Great Singapore Give 2025 – a three-month nationwide season of giving that marked the grand finale of SG60 celebrations with more than 300 digital and physical activations – also contributed to the year’s strong showing. During the campaign period from 1 October to 31 December 2025, giving.sg raised over S$47.7 million in donations – surpassing the S$42 million raised during the same period in 2024 – while also mobilising over 30,000 employee volunteers from corporate partners such as CapitaLand, Micron, Standard Chartered Bank, UOB, and more.

The 2025 year-end festive period also saw a surge in donations with over S$32.3 million received during the month of December, including S$4.7 million received on 31 December 2025 alone, marking the highest monthly and single-day performances in giving.sg history.

“Over the past year, we continue to see encouraging signs of a growing culture of giving in Singapore. We are heartened to see more Singaporeans and Singapore residents engaging in volunteerism and philanthropy, and are encouraged by the growing impact of charities, groundups, and businesses through collective giving platforms such as the Great Singapore Give. It is vital that we continue building on the momentum of SG60 by forging new partnerships and connections and creating more diverse opportunities for everyone to give, so that we can all contribute and play a part in building a ‘We First’ society,” said Tony Soh, CEO of the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC).

The year-end performance was further bolstered by NVPC’s partnership with MediaCorp, whose exemplary commitment to corporate purpose and impact in the People, Society, Governance, Environment, and Economic dimensions saw them recognised as a Champion of Good, the highest tier of recognition within NVPC’s Company of Good Recognition System. The partnership featured a series of media collaborations including the flagship year-end countdown event, ‘Let’s Celebrate 2026’, which successfully mobilised donors’ generosity during the festive season by embedding calls to give through giving.sg during the nationwide event on 31 December 2025.

giving.sg, which is backed by the Ministry of Culture, Community & Youth, continues to serve as a key fundraising and outreach channel across a wide range of charitable causes. The top three causes that donors resonated with throughout the year included Social Service and Welfare, Community Development, and Healthcare (refer to Annex A). These results were also shared by Tony Soh at the Institute of Policy Studies’ Singapore Perspectives conference on 26 January 2026 as part of the dialogue on how volunteerism and philanthropy can contribute to building a ‘We First’ society.

2025’s unprecedented results reinforce the rising influence of technology in making giving more accessible and impactful. giving.sg plays a significant role in our giving ecosystem by enabling users to explore various causes and connect with over 700 registered charities. As we journey beyond SG60, NVPC will continue to strengthen our digital giving infrastructure and empower individuals and organisations to contribute meaningfully and impactfully, fostering progress towards a more cohesive and resilient ‘We First’ society in Singapore.
